She entered religious life at the age of 19. She took her religious vows on 8 September 1897. Obedience entrusted her with children; her favourites were the poorest.

Opening antiphon
By her life entirely devoted to God,
Blessed Eugénie Joubert deserved to hear this call:
“Come, bride of Christ,
receive for ever the crown that the Lord has prepared for you”.
Gloria
Prayer
In your mercy, Lord, you have guided
Blessed Eugénie Joubert
to surrender herself entirely to your love
by following the Way of the Cross.
Through her intercession, grant that we may imitate her
charity by loving you and our neighbour
with a generous heart. Through Jesus Christ.
Prayer over the Offerings
Accept, Lord, the humble service we offer you,
reunited in the memory of Blessed Eugénie Joubert and
through the holy sacrifice of Christ Your Son,
transform us into ardent bearers of Your Love.
Through Christ our Lord.
Communion Antiphon (CF. LC 10, 42)
Blessed Eugénie Joubert, vigilant and faithful, chose the best part, which will not be taken away from her.
Prayer after Communion
Lord, our God,
by the mysterious power of this Eucharistic feast,
in which we participated in the memory
of Blessed Eugénie Joubert,
give us victory over sin,
healthy body and mind,
and eternal glory in your Kingdom.
Through Christ our Lord.
First reading
“Love is strong as death”
From the Canticle of Canticles (Cant. of Cant. 8, 6-7)
Word from our Beloved:
Set me as a seal upon your heart,
as a seal upon your arm,
for love is strong as death,
jealousy is fierce as the grave.
Its flashes are flashes of fire,
the very flame of the Lord.
Many waters cannot quench love,
neither can floods drown it.
If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house,
he would be utterly despised.
Word of the lord
Psalm 45 11 – 15
R. : You are the joy,
you are the honour of our people,
Blessed Eugénie
Hear, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear:
forget your people and your father’s house,
and the king will desire your beauty.
Since he is your lord, bow to him.
The people of Tyre will seek your favour with gifts,
the richest of the people.
All glorious is the princess in her chamber, with robes interwoven with gold.
In many-coloured robes she is led to the king,
with her virgin companions following behind her.
With joy and gladness they are led along
as they enter the palace of the king.
Gospel
Acclamation cf. Mt 11:25
Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Blessed are you, God our Father,
Lord of the Universe,
you who reveal to little ones
the mysteries of the Kingdom!
Hallelujah
From the Gospel according to Saint Matthew 18, 1-4
At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying,
“Who is the greatest
in the kingdom of heaven?”
And calling to him a child,
he put him in the midst of them
and said,
“Truly, I say to you,
unless you turn and become like children,
you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Whoever humbles himself like this child
is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
